Denver, CO — Independent Electrical Contractors Rocky Mountain (IECRM), the largest IEC electrical contractor association and training program in the United States, proudly announced the winners of its 20th Annual Summit Awards during an awards dinner and celebration held at Empower Field at Mile High on April 16, 2026.
The evening brought together leading electrical contractors, industry partners, and professionals from across the region to recognize outstanding achievements in electrical construction and innovation. Festivities began with a welcome reception featuring passed hors d’oeuvres, exclusive behind-the-scenes tours of the iconic Denver Broncos stadium, outdoor field views, a dedicated cigar lounge, and high-level networking among industry leaders.
During the reception, attendees also had the opportunity to participate in a silent auction hosted by the IECRM Emerging Leaders. The auction featured a variety of sought-after items and experiences, with proceeds supporting a meaningful cause.
A highlight of the evening was the recognition of the IECRM Emerging Leaders 14.0 cohort, a group of committed individuals who successfully completed the organization’s leadership development program. These graduates were honored for their dedication to advancing their leadership skills and contributing to the future of the electrical industry.
As part of their program initiative, the Emerging Leaders set an ambitious goal to raise $13,000 for TACT (Teaching the Autism Community the Trades), a nonprofit organization that equips individuals in the autism community with valuable trade skills and career pathways. With the addition of the silent auction during the Summit Awards, they exceeded their goal, raising a total of $17,000. This achievement underscores IECRM’s commitment to both workforce development and community impact.
“The Summit Awards represent the very best of our industry,” said Marilyn Akers Stansbury IECRM CEO. “As we celebrate 20 years of recognizing excellence, we are proud to honor the contractors, projects, and individuals who continue to raise the bar in electrical construction.”
