Denver, CO — Independent Electrical Contractors Rocky Mountain proudly recognizes City Electric Supply (CES), with Andrew Rivera, as the Premier Sponsor and presenter of the Highest Peak Award during the 20th Annual Summit Awards held April 16, 2026, at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado.
The Highest Peak Award is presented to the project receiving the highest total score from the judges, based on overall cumulative scoring among all nominated Summit Award projects.
This distinction represents the pinnacle of achievement within the Summit Awards program, honoring the single project that most exemplifies excellence across craftsmanship, safety, innovation, execution, and industry impact.
High Point Electric West earned the highest overall cumulative score from the Summit Awards judging panel, distinguishing the project as the top-scoring submission across all categories in 2026.
The winning project, Mill City Church, exemplifies exceptional execution through the transformation of a 1981 facility into a modern, energy-efficient community hub. The comprehensive electrical upgrade modernized the building’s infrastructure to meet current standards for safety, efficiency, and performance while seamlessly integrating advanced lighting controls, audiovisual systems, and upgraded power distribution.
Completed in just six months within an occupied facility, the project demonstrated outstanding coordination, adaptability, and collaboration with design and construction partners, delivering a fully modernized space supporting community, education, and service.
