Refund Policy


TRADE ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP DUES: Cancellations must be made in writing via mail or from an authorized company email account. A pro-rated amount may be issued upon the discretion of IECRM. IEC National dues are non-refundable. IECRM one-time processing fees for applications are non-refundable.

CAREER COLLEGE AND CONTINUING EDUCATION CLASSES: If a class is cancelled, a full refund will be given.  If the class is held and you do not attend, or cancel your registration within 72 hours before class, there will be no refunds.  If you are concerned about whether or not the class will be held, please contact our main office at (303) 853-4886 seventy-two (72) hours or more prior to the class date.

CREDITS/REFUNDS FOR BOOKS AND PRODUCTS: There will be no credits or refunds for book(s) and product(s) after the item(s) have been distributed and are in the possession of the student. Books and products are ordered based on registration. Should it become necessary to cancel a book and/or product order, a credit will be issued for the cost of the items less a 20% restocking fee.

CREDITS/REFUNDS FOR TUITION: Students not accepted into the school are entitled to all moneys paid. Students who cancel the contract by notifying the school within three (3) business days are entitled to a full refund of all tuition and fees paid. Students, who withdraw after three (3) business days, but before commencement of classes, are entitled to a full refund of all tuition and fees paid except the maximum cancellation charge of $150.00 or 25% of the contract price, whichever is less. In the case of students withdrawing after commencement of classes, the school will retain a cancellation charge plus a percentage of tuition and fees, which is based on the percentage of contact hours attended, as described below. The refund is based on the official date of termination or withdrawal.

Refund amount a student is entitled to upon withdrawal/termination:

  • Within first 10% of program (Lessons 1 – 2) 90% less cancellation charge
  • After 10% but within first 25% of program (Lessons 3 – 4) 75% less cancellation charge
  • After 25% but within first 50% of program (Lessons 5 – 9) 50% less cancellation charge
  • After 50% but within first 75% of program (Lessons 10 – 13) 25% less cancellation charge
  • After 75% (Lesson 14) [if paid in full, cancellation charge is not applicable] NO Refund

EVENTS: All cancellations with pre-paid fees must be made 10 business days prior to an event date in order to request a full refund. If an event is executed, and the participant does not show, there will be no refund issued.
