Please register your students using the FlashPoint system. Once logged into FlashPoint, there is a link with step-by-step instructions on “How to Register a Student” on the main page.

To receive FlashPoint login credentials, please visit iecrm.org/credentials and fill out the form to request credentials. An IECRM staff member will email you with credentials to log into FlashPoint. Credentials will be granted to member and non-member contractors.

IECRM takes pride in the dedication and expertise of our instructors. With a passion for teaching, they guide thousands of apprentices on their journey to becoming highly skilled, trained, and motivated electricians. As licensed professionals with real-world experience, our instructors bring invaluable insights to the classroom, helping students connect their training to practical applications and the impact of their trade.

The entire four years of the curriculum can be viewed here.

The vast majority of our students are employed as apprentices with electrical contractors during the day, and come to class at IECRM once a week from 5:30pm – 9:30pm. This means that classes should not affect students’ ability to work a full-time job as an electrical apprentice.

We also offer the option of Live-Online Apprentice Training, which also runs from 5:30pm – 9:30pmonce a week. Because this class is taught live by instructors over the web, it is a unique program unmatched by any other electrical training program in the region!

Tuition is paid per semester (2 semesters per school year).

Yes, you can apply your GI Bill benefits to apprentice training!

How to use your GI Bill benefits:

You must be working with an electrical contractor in order to use your education benefits. On the job training hours are required and submitted for payment. Payments will go directly to the apprentice and not the institution.

If you need help finding a contractor to work for…. Click on the Hire List to get the process started.

Additionally, if you are unemployed, you may apply for Tuition Assistance through IECRM. IECRM gives US Veterans priority for Tuition Assistance, as long as all other Tuition Assistance requirements are met by the individual.

If you are a Veteran seeking Tuition Assistance for education, please contact IECRM by phone at (303) 853-4886 (M-F 9:00 – 5:00pm), and we will provide you with our Tuition Assistance application.

If your company is located in one of Colorado’s Enterprise Zones, your company may be eligible for a tax credit toward job training expenses for your employees. The Job Training Tax Credit may be applied toward what your company spends on IECRM apprentice training (including the Live-Online Program) and continuing education classes for your employees.

The IECRM apprentice program meets state licensing requirements for Colorado and Wyoming. Out-of-state residents interested in the Live-Online Apprentice Training Program should follow these steps:

1. Check for a Local IEC Chapter – View the IEC Chapters list to see if your state has one. Your local chapter can provide information on nearby programs and state-specific apprentice training requirements.

2. Verify State Requirements – If no IEC Chapter exists in your state, check with your local licensing authority for apprentice training requirements, as they vary by state.

3. Contact IECRM – Provide your state’s apprentice training requirements. If our program meets them, we will process your application over the phone—no need to visit our Denver office.

Additional Notes:

The SAA program is only available to Colorado and Wyoming contractors.

Contractors interested in IECRM membership may qualify as a Member-at-Large. Contact Holly Andrews, IECRM Operations Manager, at (303) 853-4886 for details.

IECRM is a US Department of Labor Office of Apprenticeship (OA) certified training provider. This OA designation, formerly called BAT, allows our member companies with employees in our IECRM Apprenticeship School to bid government projects with Davis-Bacon wage requirements on a tiered scale. This tiered scale allows you to provide wage and benefit estimates far below that listed as Davis-Bacon prevailing wages. This unique benefit of IECRM enables your company to provide a more competitive bid than other bidders.

IECRM Contractor Members: For information about the OA program, and to obtain a copy of the OA Program Packet and Registration Form, please call the Compliance Manager or Training Manager at (303) 853-4886.
