Denver, CO — Independent Electrical Contractors Rocky Mountain proudly recognizes Tyler Pecore of LEI Companies as the recipient of the 2026 Alumnus of the Year Award during the 20th Annual Summit Awards held April 16, 2026, at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado.
Presented annually, the IECRM Summit Awards celebrate excellence across the electrical construction industry, honoring companies, projects, and individuals who demonstrate leadership, innovation, craftsmanship, safety, workforce development, and community impact throughout the Rocky Mountain region.
The Alumnus of the Year Award honors a graduate of IECRM’s four-year apprenticeship program who has distinguished themselves as a leader, mentor, and champion of the electrical industry.
Tyler Pecore is recognized as a rising industry leader whose career progression from apprentice to estimator reflects exceptional drive, technical expertise, and professional growth. In just a few short years, he has led more than $17 million in project pursuits and secured over $8 million in awarded work.
In addition to his project leadership, Pecore has stepped into a role that strengthens team performance and mentorship within his organization, helping to guide and develop others as they advance in their careers.
An IECRM graduate and current Emerging Leaders participant, he represents the next generation of professionals shaping the future of the electrical industry through leadership, service, and continuous development.
The Alumnus of the Year Award was presented on behalf of IECRM by Jake Jackson, the 2024 IECRM Alumni Award winner at both the local and national level. Jackson is the owner of Juniper Mountain Electric, a member of the IECRM Board of Directors, and serves on the IEC National Apprenticeship and Training Committee.
The 20th Annual Summit Awards brought together electrical contractors, industry partners, apprentices, and professionals from across the region for an evening celebrating excellence and continued growth in the electrical construction industry.
