The IECRM Industry Showcase brought together apprentices, contractors, instructors, and industry partners for a day centered on hands-on learning, workforce development, and industry connection. The event featured breakout education sessions, exhibitor demonstrations, and networking opportunities during the Wire-Off Competition.
A major highlight was the support from Border States, who brought their custom grill trailer, served hamburgers and hot dogs, and personally manned the grill throughout the day—helping create a welcoming, community-focused atmosphere for attendees.
Breakout Education Highlights
IECRM offered multiple education sessions focused on technical training, safety, and industry advancement, including:
- Free CEU for IECRM members: NEC Changes (4 CEU Hours) taught by IECRM Instructor Chris Papp
- A Generac session led by Isaac Opalinsky, highlighting solar, storage, and workforce training innovations
- NFPA 70E and 70B safety updates presented by Greg Hollingsworth, focusing on arc-flash safety, labeling, and maintenance practices
- Hands-on Industry Showcase demonstrations featuring the latest tools, technology, and services from industry partners
The Industry Showcase also included exhibitor engagement, food and refreshments, and networking opportunities, along with an exclusive VIP experience for IECRM contractor members.
The two events came together for a high-energy happy hour, where industry connections were made, competition was celebrated, and the Wire-Off placement winners were officially announced to close out an unforgettable day!
