Denver, CO — Independent Electrical Contractors Rocky Mountain proudly recognizes Loenbro as the recipient of the Commercial Project Award ($6,000,000–$10,000,000) during the 20th Annual Summit Awards held April 16, 2026, at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado.

Loenbro (Category C, representing companies with 100+ employees) earned recognition for a highly complex stadium renovation completed within an active, high-capacity sports venue.

The winning project, University of Wyoming “Restore the War”, is an unique renovation project delivered a complex, multi-level electrical infrastructure upgrade—including a 1,500KVA transformer, 2,500-amp main service, backup generation, and fully integrated lighting and control systems—within an active stadium environment hosting over 23,000 fans during construction.

Leveraging advanced BIM coordination, concealed conduit routing through a 120-foot elevator shaft, and creative high-elevation installation methods to enhance efficiency and final aesthetics, the project transformed a historic venue into a modern, high-performance facility worthy of its legacy and future.
