Denver, CO — Independent Electrical Contractors Rocky Mountain proudly recognizes Juniper Mountain Electric as the recipient of the Industrial Project Award (Up to $500,000) during the 20th Annual Summit Awards held April 16, 2026, at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado.
Presented annually, the IECRM Summit Awards celebrate excellence across the electrical construction industry, honoring companies, projects, and individuals who demonstrate leadership, innovation, craftsmanship, safety, workforce development, and community impact throughout the Rocky Mountain region.
Juniper Mountain Electric (Category A, representing companies with 1–50 employees) earned recognition for delivering a critical infrastructure upgrade to a remote municipal wastewater treatment system under extreme logistical and time constraints.
The winning project, Town of Encampment Sewer Lagoon Improvements – Aeration Control Building, delivered a 480-volt, 3-phase, 400-amp electrical and controls system to enhance water treatment operations, aerate the sewer lagoon, and re-feed an existing facility located 1,300 feet away. Completed within an uncompromising one-month shutdown window by a two-person team in remote Wyoming, the work demanded exceptional planning, precision, and execution to upgrade the town’s only wastewater treatment facility.
Overcoming supply chain limitations, long-distance logistics, and first-time industrial control challenges, the project ensures reliable, long-term infrastructure for the entire community.
