Denver, CO — Independent Electrical Contractors Rocky Mountain (IECRM) recognized 41 member electrical contracting companies for excellence in electrical safety during the 20th Annual IECRM Summit Awards held on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado.
The IECRM Safety Excellence Certificate Program highlights companies that demonstrate a strong, ongoing commitment to safety as the most critical priority in the electrical industry. Rather than a competitive ranking, the recognition acknowledges organizations that actively evaluate and strengthen their internal safety practices.
Through a comprehensive safety assessment, participating contractors review key components of their safety programs, including leadership commitment, safety committees, incident and near-miss investigations, employee engagement, jobsite audits, and recognition of safe behaviors. The process is designed to help companies identify strengths and uncover opportunities for continuous improvement.
True safety excellence is defined not by comparison to others, but by continuous improvement within each organization to better protect workers, jobsites, and the industry as a whole.
IECRM utilizes insights from these assessments to enhance and expand safety training programs and resources for its membership. The assessment also aligns with the IEC National SPARK Program, providing contractors with a pathway toward national safety recognition. IEC National is currently accepting nominations for awards and SPARK recognition through July 15, 2026, at https://iecawards.secure-platform.com/.
This year, IECRM proudly recognizes the following 41 member companies for their commitment to safety leadership and continuous improvement:
