Denver, CO — Independent Electrical Contractors Rocky Mountain proudly recognizes Namaste Solar as the recipient of the Commercial Project Award ($250,000–$500,000) during the 20th Annual Summit Awards held April 16, 2026, at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado.

Namaste Solar (Category C, representing companies with 100+ employees) earned recognition for delivering a high-impact renewable energy project with measurable environmental and community benefits.

The winning project, Anchor Center for Blind Children, provides a strategic solar solution that offsets more than 160 tons of CO₂ annually while generating over $1 million in long-term savings. These savings directly support reinvestment in critical services for children with visual impairments.

Executed within an sensitive, occupied school environment, the project demonstrated exceptional safety innovation and stakeholder coordination, adapting construction methods to ensure the protection of both sighted and blind students. The project exemplifies how commercial construction can advance sustainability while delivering meaningful community impact.

The 20th Annual Summit Awards brought together electrical contractors, industry partners, apprentices, and professionals from across the region for an evening celebrating the accomplishments and continued growth of the industry.
