Denver, CO — Independent Electrical Contractors Rocky Mountain proudly recognizes LEI Companies, Inc. as the recipient of the 2026 Low Voltage / Systems Automation & Controls Project Award during the 20th Annual Summit Awards held April 16, 2026, at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado.
Presented annually, the IECRM Summit Awards celebrate excellence across the electrical construction industry, honoring companies, projects, and individuals who demonstrate leadership, innovation, craftsmanship, safety, workforce development, and community impact throughout the Rocky Mountain region.
The Low Voltage / Systems Automation & Controls Project Award recognizes excellence in complex systems integration, including fire alarm, automation, controls, and low-voltage infrastructure that enhances safety, functionality, and building performance.
LEI Companies, Inc. is recognized for its work on the Aurora Central High School Fire Alarm Improvements project, which delivered critical upgrades to life-safety systems within an active educational environment.
The project transformed a 245,000-square-foot campus with a fully modernized life-safety system and was delivered in an accelerated four-month timeframe.
This project stands out for its seamless execution within an active school environment, where night-shift work, flexible planning, and real-time adaptability ensured zero disruption to students and staff while meeting strict AHJ deadlines.
The IECRM Low Voltage / Systems Automation & Controls Project Award was presented on behalf of IECRM by Greg Livin of Wipfli, an IECRM Board Member and Treasurer.
The 20th Annual Summit Awards brought together electrical contractors, industry partners, apprentices, and professionals from across the region for an evening celebrating excellence and continued growth in the electrical construction industry.
