To promote careers in the electrical industry and drive attendance to the Career Fairs, IECRM will advertise on radio, local billboards, social and digital platforms, and in 18 weekly newspapers. We also publicize the fairs in news media community event calendars and through aggressive social media posts to drive shares and spread the word. You can listen to and find our ads on 103.1 Comedy, Colorado Public Radio, 99.5 the Mountain, KS 107.5, KUNC, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
IECRM is pleased to assist your company fill positions. Help us spread the word and drive more traffic to your booth by posting information about the fairs to your company’s social media sites (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.). Click here for a flyer you can share. Happy Hiring!
* Due to limited space, the Career Fair booths are only available to IECRM Contractor Members. Please contact Mary Beth Armbruster ([email protected]) with questions.
Construction Careers NOW!
IECRM is in its second year of partnering with Construction Careers Now, a four-week pre-apprenticeship program through Emily Griffith Technical College that graduates 40-50 participants per month, culminating in a very special Hiring Fair just for those that have finished the 16-night program that includes OSHA-10. IECRM not only teaches the electrical content for the program, but has a booth representing our members at the monthly Hiring Fairs.
We will represent you, our contractors, that have open positions, and invite you to also have a booth at the Hiring Fair. $350 is a great investment for the opportunity to speak to 40-50 eager candidates that have already been exposed to the construction and electrical industry and are ready for their next opportunity. NOTE: Small and Minority-Owned Businesses may be eligible to participate in the CCN Hiring Fair at no cost through a DURA Grant.
