One of the most overlooked yet impactful is IECRM’s Borrowed Worker Program.
How It Works
When a contractor has skilled workers available during a slow period, they can temporarily “loan” them to another contractor in need. IECRM maintains a list of available workers and contractor needs for up to 30 days. “The list is available to any contractor member upon request, but arrangements are made directly between contractors,” explains Brenda Magee, President of Magee Electric, who joined IECRM after discovering this resource.
