Congratulations to all Summit Awards Nominees and Winners!

In a studio, six feet apart, hosting the 14th Annual Summit Awards, IECRM Board of Directors President Rob Watkins and IECRM

CEO Marilyn Akers Stansbury gave an award-winning performance of their own as members watched and participated from their homes, offices, and even a mountaintop. Click here to watch the video recording of the Virtual Summit Awards presentation.

2020 called for an unprecedented approach to this year’s Summit Awards Event. Fabulous and fun Home Depot “Watch Party Buckets” were hand-delivered to audience members’ homes and offices, filled with dinner certificates, beverages, snacks, desserts, party décor, and the hottest items of 2020: masks, hand sanitizer, and toilet paper! Guests were welcomed to a virtual networking cocktail hour, visiting “rooms” hosted by premier sponsor The Home Depot Pro, IEC National CEO Spenser Villwock, IECRM Board Members, and IECRM Staff. Then, the awards show began! With the aid of the “mission control room” in the studio, attendees were able to interact with the hosts and each other in real time throughout the program. The networking continued into the Virtual After Party where guests lingered and congratulated the winners.

The evening’s theme Essential and Excellent aptly described the tone for the event, sponsored by The Home Depot Pro, premier sponsor for the interactive virtual awards program.

Each year, IECRM recognizes excellence in projects and people within the electrical, construction, and green building fields – highlighting projects that have added to the landscape of our communities; celebrating the achievements of members and the success of our instructors and apprentices; and honoring the incredible support we receive from industry partners.

“These awards are important as they showcase the external contributions electrical contractors make in the community,” said Rob. “They also provide an opportunity for us to recognize the internal contributions of our employees.” He went on to add, “This has been especially true this year as we responded as companies and a chapter to our members’ needs, pivoting during the COVID pandemic.”

IECRM Self-Pay Tuition Policy

Self-pay students who are employed with a member company must register and pay through the member company using the IECRM Flashpoint Enrollment Portal/Process in order to qualify for member rates.

Self-pay students that are employed with a member company but that do not register and pay through the member will be charged the non-member rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.

Self-pay students who are employed with a member company and require a payment plan will not qualify for the member rate and will be charged the non-member rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.

Self-pay students who do not work for a member company will continue to be charged the non-member rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.

To maximize association/membership benefits, ALL member companies are encouraged to register and pay for all enrolled apprentices utilizing internal payment arrangements and processes between employer and employee.

We value our IECRM members and apprentice community. We encourage all apprentices to be enrolled in the four-year apprenticeship program, earning, and learning their way toward Journeyworker licensure. We encourage all members to utilize the member discount for tuition, books and applicable fees to ensure the long-term support and success of the next-generation electrician.

(Payment Plans are available, please reference the Self Pay Payment Plan Policy.)

Self-Pay Payment Plan Policy

We offer the following arrangements for students that are unable to pay in full at the time of registration.

● Self-pay students will be charged the non-member rate.
● A 50% down payment of total semester tuition, books and applicable fees are due at registration.
● Remaining balance can be divided up to 3 additional monthly payments ($10.00 processing fee applies on each installment)
● All payments that are declined will incur a $20.00 NSF fee.

We encourage all students who are employed with a member company to work with their employer to register and pay through the IECRM Flashpoint Enrollment Portal/Process. This will ensure the student is paying the lowest possible rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.
