The Independent Electrical Industry Clay Shoot Was a Great Success and Boost to our Chapter!

On Friday, June 25, 2021, members of the IECRM community enjoyed a beautiful day at the exceptional Colorado Clays facility for IECRM’s 5th Annual Clay Shooting Tournament. One hundred twenty shooters took aim at clay pigeons at 15 stations throughout the course during the morning. Afterward, the teams gathered for a delicious barbeque lunch, li-beer-ty, and the pursuit of happiness as scores were tallied and giveaways distributed.

IECRM is grateful to all who participated in the tournament. Not only has this tournament shown to be a great time to get together to enjoy each other’s company, but it is also imperative for the organization’s fundraising goals. The event was a great success and a big boost to our Chapter!

A big thank you goes out to QED Supply, a Sonepar Company, for providing a BOOM-ing event by stepping up as the premier sponsor, supporting the independent contractor, the association, and the next generation of electricians.

The IECRM Clay Shoot Task Force was the powerful force behind the success of the event (Jay Commuso, I-Pro, Inc.; David Jones, QED Supply; Jason Jones, The Lighting Group). We’d also like to recognize all of the volunteers that lent a hand to help set up and takedown during the event, especially The Premier Group who has volunteered and sponsored each year since the inaugural event.

Jay Commuso of I-Pro, Inc. supplied a hand-crafted American flag featuring a thin blue line for all attendees to sign to show support for law enforcement personnel after the tragic loss of Arvada Police Officer Gordon Beesley, killed in the line of duty. The flag was presented to the Arvada Police Department the day following the tournament.

We look forward to seeing our members again at upcoming IECRM events!
