Taking It to the Streets: Lessons on Impacting Our Community
The pillars of IECRM’s core values include Integrity, Competency, Respect, Service, and Collaboration. These values define our mission and propel us to reach beyond the walls of our school into the streets of our community.
Last month, IEC Rocky Mountain was recognized by the City of Northglenn as a Pandemic Community Impact Partner. This recognition came from going “above and beyond” to support the community during the pandemic. IECRM served as a COVID testing site in collaboration with the City for several months.
Additionally, IECRM’s members and staff made tangible donations to the food bank across the street to assist those in need during this unprecedented time. We have that same opportunity right now. If you would like to contribute to the food bank, please drop off your donations to IECRM. They are in special need of canned chicken, tuna, as well as small jars of jelly of any flavor. All donations will be delivered on Monday, December 20th.
It’s amazing what can happen when a group of like-minded people works together for a common cause. All that is needed is the commitment to make a difference and the go get em attitude to see it through!
