IECRM’s Annual Policy Forum will be held at the Quarterly Membership Luncheon — All Welcome…and Encouraged!
Thursday, November 14, 2019 (12:00 PM – 1:30 PM)
The IECRM Government Relations Committee will host the Annual Policy Forum on November 14th at noon as part of the 4th quarter Membership Luncheon and celebration of National Apprenticeship Week. IECRM members and their employees and apprentices are invited to join us for this informative event to meet committee members. Come and learn how you can represent the industry at the state and federal level on issues related to labor & employment, FAMLI, minimum wage, workforce development, sales tax, solar and transportation.
As a business owner, if you cannot attend, please ask a representative of your company. The discussion will be lively, informative and help company leaders understand important issues impacting local Colorado businesses.
Jason Todd, IEC National Vice President of Government Affairs, will speak about upcoming legislation and regulations that may impact business and the industry. We will also discuss the recent efforts that have been put into place on the state and federal levels that support apprenticeships and skilled trades.
Following the Policy Forum, join us to welcome new members and meet the IECRM Board of Directors, Government Relations Committee and IECRM Staff. Be a part of learning new and existing member and student benefits, discuss hot industry topics, and hear about what’s coming up at IECRM.
The luncheon will be held at IECRM’s main campus in Northglenn. Please invite your colleagues and industry peers to attend this annual preview of legislative issues impacting business, workforce development, and the electrical industry.
