IECRM to Graduate Largest Class of Apprentices Yet on June 6

Nearly 100 Percent Employed and No College Debt

On Saturday, June 6th, a record number of electrical apprentices will graduate from IECRM’s Four-Year Electrical Apprentice Program. A very special and unique virtual graduation ceremony will be held to honor the 170 apprentices who will graduate that day. Live streaming of the event begins at 11 a.m on YouTube Live. Please be sure to RSVP here no later than Monday, June 1 to receive details to attend virtually.

From the comfort of your own home, join family members, friends, spouses, instructors, and employers in celebration of the graduates. Consider making it a brunch “watch” party as we honor the IECRM Class of 2020! Engage with the graduates and cheer them on in comments on YouTube Live. We’d also like to see your “grad watch party” photos so please send them to us at [email protected] or post them on social media at #IECRM2020grad. Use this hashtag to comment and cheer on the graduates on social media! 

The one-hour virtual experience will feature special guests and IEC National CEO Spenser Villwock who will deliver the commencement keynote.  In addition, we’ll also be hearing from these speakers:

  • IECRM Board of Trustees Chair, Jason Sharpe, CEO at Namaste Solar

Each graduate will receive a Certificate of Completion from the IECRM 4-year Apprentice Program; a Certificate of Completion and Transcript from Emily Griffith Technical College recognizing completion of up to 42 hours of transferable college credit toward an associate degree at a Colorado community college and up to 53 credits toward a bachelor degree with CSU Global; an IEC National Certificate of Achievement; and certain students will receive certificates of completion from the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Apprenticeship and Training for meeting the standards and requirements prescribed by the U.S. Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship Program.

During the ceremony, graduates and underclassmen will be recognized for achieving high academic honors, perfect attendance, competing in the 2020 IECRM Wire-Off Competition skills challenges, and other achievements. Every graduate will receive valuable gifts donated by IDEAL Industries, DeWalt, and Milwaukee Tool.

IECRM Self-Pay Tuition Policy

 

Self-pay students who are employed with a member company must register and pay through the member company using the IECRM Flashpoint Enrollment Portal/Process in order to qualify for member rates.

Self-pay students that are employed with a member company but that do not register and pay through the member will be charged the non-member rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.


Self-pay students who are employed with a member company and require a payment plan will not qualify for the member rate and will be charged the non-member rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.


Self-pay students who do not work for a member company will continue to be charged the non-member rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.


To maximize association/membership benefits, ALL member companies are encouraged to register and pay for all enrolled apprentices utilizing internal payment arrangements and processes between employer and employee.


We value our IECRM members and apprentice community. We encourage all apprentices to be enrolled in the four-year apprenticeship program, earning, and learning their way toward Journeyworker licensure. We encourage all members to utilize the member discount for tuition, books and applicable fees to ensure the long-term support and success of the next-generation electrician.

Self-Pay Payment Plan Policy


We offer the following arrangements for students that are unable to pay in full at the time of registration.


● Self-pay students will be charged the non-member rate.
● A 50% down payment of total semester tuition, books and applicable fees are due at registration.
● Remaining balance can be divided up to 3 additional monthly payments ($10.00 processing fee applies on each installment)
● All payments that are declined will incur a $20.00 NSF fee.

 

We encourage all students who are employed with a member company to work with their employer to register and pay through the IECRM Flashpoint Enrollment Portal/Process. This will ensure the student is paying the lowest possible rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.
