IECRM CEO Marilyn Stansbury Named One of Metro North Denver’s Top Women

Women in business, government, and nonprofit positions benefit the Metro North region through their leadership and mentorship. The Metro North Chamber of Commerce recognizes women business leaders in our community who are making a difference in the lives of many at the Women of the Metro North Awards event. This year’s awards were given out on September 18, 2019 at the Lionsgate Event Center in Lafayette.

This year’s honorees represent some of the most talented women in our region – leaders who are willing to give of themselves for the greater good and the benefit of our entire community — recognized for their innovation, entrepreneurship, professional accomplishment, and community leadership.

IECRM CEO Marilyn Stansbury was among them in two categories: Non-Traditional Careers and STEAM. “It was incredible to be among such successful, talented and extraordinary women this year,” says Marilyn. “I am so honored.”

Marilyn has a passion for creating and leading partnerships – solving big problems, forging a new vision, engaging others, developing and leveraging human capital, financial and technology resources, generating revenue and impactful results.

Throughout her career in public affairs and policy, corporate communication, business operations, program and project management, she has successfully transformed organizations and complex initiatives from visionary concept to sustained implementation. Her experience includes systems change in public education and corporate operations through strategic policy, workforce development, digital and emerging media, technology adoption and integration, communication and community engagement.

Marilyn loves learning about the people and places that round out the world and making connections to people and resources that are supportive and collaborative.

The 2019 winners were selected by a panel of community leaders including Chamber board members, members of the Women of the Metro North Committee, and past award recipients.
