IECRM has partnered with Red Rocks Community College (RRCC) to expand access to specialized electric vehicle (EV) charging station training for Colorado electrical professionals. Through a scholarship opportunity, eligible participants can complete the training with no out-of-pocket cost, reducing financial barriers to gaining in-demand skills.
The six-week Electric Vehicle Charging Station Training Program (EVCSTP) covers EV charging technology, installation, maintenance, safety, and the 2026 National Electrical Code (NEC). Participants can earn 20 Colorado electrical CEUs and an EVCSTP certification while building skills that support career advancement and help contractors expand their services as demand for EV charging infrastructure grows.
This partnership supports IECRM’s commitment to workforce development by connecting members and electrical professionals with training opportunities that benefit both individual careers and the electrical industry.
Registration for the current session is closed, and classes are scheduled to begin Friday, October 2. Sign up to receive IECRM emails and be notified when the next EV charging station training opportunity becomes available.
