IECRM to Host Blood Drive in Denver for Children’s Hospital Colorado
DENVER, Colorado — March 26, 2013 — The Independent Electrical Contractors Rocky Mountain (IECRM), the premier energy trade association and electrician training institution, is hosting a blood drive for Children’s Hospital Colorado on May 17th, from 9am-1:45pm, at 480 East 76th Avenue, Building 5, in Denver, Colorado. The blood collected at this blood drive will enable routine and life-saving procedures to be performed on Colorado’s sick and injured infants, children, and teens.
All interested and eligible donors are asked to make an appointment here. Donor eligibility requirements are detailed on the official event page. Donations will take place inside a bloodmobile parked in front of IECRM.
“Being able to give back to the community through supporting the Children’s Hospital blood drive feels amazing!” said Kristin Kim Haynes, Director of Operations for IECRM. “Choosing to take 15 minutes out of my day to help those in need, and potentially save a child’s life, was a perspicuous decision – YES.”
The blood drive will take place on the same day as IECRM’s 2013 Wire-Off Competition & Energy Expo, an annual energy industry event. Those planning to attend the Wire-Off Competition & Energy Expo are encouraged to sign up to donate blood.
Donors will be provided with snacks, an opportunity to tour the IECRM Energy Expo for free, win door prizes, and enjoy a complimentary BBQ lunch going on from 12-noon to 1:30pm.
