A Special Session Dedicated to High School Students at the IEC Convention & Expo
IECRM in partnership with IEC Southern Colorado and IEC Western Colorado extends an invite to the juniors and seniors of Colorado’s high schools to attend a special Electrical Industry Showcase dedicated to them on Friday, October 8 from 8:30 am – 10:30 am.
This special High School Showcase will enable students to learn more about career opportunities in the electrical industry from brief presentations from trade professionals, current electricians’ apprentices, and recent graduates. Following the presentations, they will be invited to tour the Exhibit Hall and get to experience cutting-edge technologies, learn about industry safety practices, meet with exhibitors to learn about their role in the industry and participate in hands-on demonstrations.
Our goal is to have students walk away with broader knowledge about the electrical trade and the multiple career paths as they begin to solidify their future career choices.
Lastly, all high school attendees will be entered into a special grand prize drawing prior to their departure and will leave with gifts of electrical products from our vendors and sponsors. Do you know a high school program that would be a fit? Please send them the following link: https://iec.flashpoint.xyz/Lite/Event/Profile/370171000 to register to attend this free event.
