Community & Congressional Recognition

Before the Wire-Off winners were officially announced, IECRM welcomed Eliseo Gonzales, Field Representative for Congressman Gabe Evans, for a firsthand look at the power of electrical apprenticeship training. In a proud and memorable moment, Gonzales presented IECRM with a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition signed by Congressman Gabe Evans to acknowledge IECRM’s outstanding service to the community.

Adding to the significance, each Wire-Off competitor will also receive their own Congressional Certificate of Recognition—an achievement that will be officially recorded in the Library of Congress.

“IECRM apprentices are powering the future of our economy. Their hands-on work and commitment to the merit shop philosophy ensure our industry stays strong and competitive. With recognition from Congress and the rapid growth of EV infrastructure, our future electricians are set for long-term success and job security.” — Paul Lingo, IECRM Training Director.
