CEO of IECRM Nominated for Denver Business Journal “Forty Under 40” Award
DENVER, Colorado — February 8, 2013 — The Denver Business Journal announced today that Spenser Villwock, CEO of the Independent Electrical Contractors Rocky Mountain (IECRM), has been nominated for the publication’s annual “Forty Under 40” awards, an exclusive list of 40 individuals who have made significant professional, civic, and philanthropic achievements to the Denver business community. The 2013 nominees can be seen in this week’s February 8-14 print edition of the Denver Business Journal.
As CEO of the Independent Electrical Contractors Rocky Mountain, Spenser Villwock, MNM, LEED AP, is keenly focused on keeping contractors at the cutting edge of the energy and construction industries through innovative skills trainings and workforce development. Since beginning his work with IECRM, a non-profit trade association and educational institution for independent contractors, Villwock has implemented renewable energy curriculum into the educational program, worked with Colorado legislators to address the energy industry’s needs and concerns, spearheaded a 6-week, media-acclaimed Emerging Leaders program, and recently achieved a promotion from Executive Director to Chief Executive Officer by the IECRM Board of Directors.
