RK, a leader in commercial construction, manufacturing, fabrication and building services, is paving the

way for workforce development through partnered apprenticeships like Independent Electrical

Contractors Rocky Mountain (IECRM). This partnership helps to promote a more diverse and inclusive

workforce, with women now joining the industry in greater numbers.

RK has always been committed to promoting diversity in the workforce and is proud to have female

employees who are making great strides in furthering their careers through trade apprenticeships and

education, like RK’s partnered program with IECRM. Several women are currently employed by RK

Mission Critical and RK Electrical, working on iconic and innovative projects. By providing hands-on

training and education, RK is helping to cultivate a new generation of skilled workers who will be vital to

the industry’s growth and success.

As we celebrate Women in Construction Week March 6-10, RK would like to give a special shout-out to

all women working in the construction industry who are breaking down barriers to create a more

inclusive and diverse workforce. RK is proud to support their efforts and looks forward to continuing to

work towards a brighter future for all in the construction industry. #iecrmwic
