Recap of the IECRM Golf Tournament: A Day of Fun, Fundraising & Fellowship

The IECRM Golf Tournament, held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Fox Hollow Golf Course, was a resounding success with a sold-out roster of 216 golfers. This eagerly anticipated event brought the IECRM community together for camaraderie, friendly competition, and support of the association’s mission. Click here to see photos of the event.

Golfers began the day with a hot breakfast burrito, a warm-up on the driving range, and time to network among the 54-cart lineup. The tournament followed a scramble-style format, commencing with a shotgun start. Six $5,000 contest holes kept the excitement high, alongside long drive and putting competitions. IECRM Industry Partners who purchased tents on the course met golfers, showcased their products and services, and shared giveaways.

A heartfelt thank you to our Events Committee and Golf Taskforce for their hard work planning this event, and a big thank you to the volunteers who helped set up, ran contest holes, and served as witnesses at the $5,000 hole-in-one challenges.

Once golfers completed their 18 holes, everyone gathered at the large lunch pavilion for cold drinks and a delicious taco bar. As guests mingled over lunch, team scores were tallied, and the event wrapped up with the announcement of door prizes, contest winners, and—most notably—the tournament placement winners.

Driving IECRM’s Mission Forward through the Support of Industry Advocates

The IECRM Golf Tournament is the largest fundraiser of the year, directly supporting IECRM’s workforce development initiatives.

This year’s fundraising efforts were bigger than ever:

Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) BackSwing Golf: Guests enjoyed three “Beat the Pro” contest holes, raising funds and adding fun challenges throughout the course. A grand total of $8,870 was raised through the efforts of the LPGA professionals!

IECRM Political Action Committee (PAC): Members supported advocacy through the “Give $20, Get a Penny Back” cigar fundraiser. Not a smoker? Participants could instead choose a multi-tool pen or a pair of IEC socks! A total of $285 was raised to support IECRM legislative advocacy as we continue to prepare for the 2026 legislative session.

Thanks to the support of sponsors, golfers, and volunteers, this tournament continues to strengthen the future of the electrical industry in Colorado and Wyoming.
