PLATINUM PARTNER Spotlight: Milwaukee Tool

One Team. One Focus. The User.

Since the company began in 1924, Milwaukee Tool has led the industry in developing innovative solutions that deliver increased productivity and unmatched durability for professional construction users. Their products, jobsite lighting, time-saving accessories, and innovative hand tool and storage products are a worksite staple and continue to deliver a continuous flow of advanced, trade-specific solutions.

IECRM is proud to count Milwaukee Tool among its Platinum Partners. “Milwaukee Tool is very involved with our members and apprentices in safety and productivity on the jobsite through their thoughtfully designed, innovative solutions to keep users safe without slowing them down,” says Marilyn Stansbury. “They also sponsor IECRM’s Apprentice of the Month Program, and many of our signature events throughout the year.”

Milwaukee Tool will be very much evident during the IEC Convention and Expo in St. Louis.  “Milwaukee Tool is excited to partner with the IEC in creating the future of the electrical industry through our continued support of the IEC Convention especially sponsorship of the Apprentice of the Year Competition, Certified Professional Electricians Exam, multiple Educational Sessions, and a Booth Experience to show what we’ve been working on,” says Brett Wilson, Director – Electrical Trades at Milwaukee Tool. “The IEC Convention is our opportunity to partner deeper with the industry to create the solutions and relationships that will continue to drive our success together.”

Earlier this year, Milwaukee Tool also supported IEC National by sponsoring the annual Executive Director Council Meeting at its Brookfield, Wisconsin headquarters and shared with IEC Chapter Executive Directors across the country why leadership and innovation matters and how Milwaukee approaches this in the company.

At IECRM, Milwaukee Tool has been a longtime member and Platinum Industry Partner. Chris DeCleene (Territory Manager – JSS Electrical) serves on the Board of Trustees and the Apprenticeship & Training Committee. Milwaukee team members regularly conduct tool safety training workshops, hold hands-on tool demonstrations, contribute to training and innovation through lab donations, and provide graduation support.

The Milwaukee Tool approach is to focus on what the user needs. They invest the time to work side-by-side with real users to understand the demands of a constantly changing workplace and how they can best deliver solutions for a safer, more productive job site. Through a thorough evaluation of the job at hand – the frustrations, needs, and previous limitations – Milwaukee Tool sets out to completely rethink a solution and deliver the game-changing innovation seen across all its product lines. “Milwaukee Tool is not simply a manufacturer,” says Brett. “We are progressive problem solvers.”

We encourage all members to utilize the member discount for tuition, books and applicable fees to ensure the long-term support and success of the next-generation electrician.
