Nominate Yourself or Recommend a Colleague
As a member of the IECRM Board of Directors, you’ll have the opportunity to guide our industry into the future by creating a strong business environment for electrical and energy contractors and industry partners who provide essential products and services. This role is not just about governance—it’s about driving performance, fostering growth, and shaping the future of IECRM. Your commitment will serve as an example to others in the trades and the community, making a real difference in our industry.
Board Expectations
- Term Length: Board terms are two years in duration, allowing members to make a meaningful impact over time.
- Responsibilities:
- Attend monthly IECRM Board of Directors meetings, typically held on the 4th Thursday at 7 a.m. at our main location in Northglenn.
- Serve on at least one IECRM Committee, such as the Board of Trustees, Emerging Leaders, Government Relations, Membership, Events, Safety, or Workforce Empowerment.
- Attend at least three IECRM Annual Events, including the Summit Awards, Wire-Off Competition, Energy Expo, Apprentice Graduation Ceremony, Golf Tournament, State of the Industry Dinner, or Holiday Party.
- All Board Members must be in good standing with the Association.
Nominations Instructions
If you’re interested in serving on the Board or wish to recommend a colleague, follow these simple steps:
- Submit Your Nomination: Complete the online nomination form and submit a 2-minute video by Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at 11:59 p.m.
- Your video should include:
- Your name
- Your company
- Why you want to serve on the Board
- Video Options:
- Record a video on your phone, computer, or another device and upload it to the online nomination form or email it to [email protected].
- Schedule an in-person recording session at IECRM.
- Schedule a Zoom session with IECRM to record your video.

Voting and Elections
- Voting Process: Ballots will be emailed to IECRM members in mid-October.
- Voting Timeline: Online voting will be open through Wednesday, November 13.
Announcement: The newly elected Board of Directors will be announced during the State of the Industry Dinner on Wednesday, November 13. Don’t forget to register for this important event.
