Question – How do AHJ’s verify connectors are approved for use with the MC ap cable?
Consensus-AHJ’s will simply verify by inspecting the physical box the connectors are packaged and shipped in for all pertinent information to assure the cable is being terminated per its listing instructions, then simply spot check a few cable terminations. Reference 2020 NEC Sections 110.3(B) &300.15-“fittings and connectors shall be used only with the specific wiring methods for which they are designed and listed.”
