IECRM Quarterly Member Luncheon Brings Members Together

IECRM welcomed members and industry partners to its Quarterly Member Luncheon on Wednesday, August 12, at the IECRM Northglenn campus. The complimentary luncheon gave members an opportunity to connect, learn more about their membership benefits and hear updates on upcoming initiatives and events.

The luncheon began with lunch from Beltran’s Meat Market, a local, family-owned restaurant serving traditional Mexican and Mexican American food.

IECRM CEO Marilyn Akers Stansbury opened the program with an overview of IECRM, its role as a trade association and the many benefits available to members. Each IECRM staff member also introduced themselves and shared their role within the organization.

Brett Reyes, IECRM Development Director, discussed the importance of sponsorships in supporting IECRM as a nonprofit organization and highlighted upcoming events and opportunities for members to get involved.

Marilyn also briefly mentioned IECRM’s upcoming Voting Guide and encouraged members to keep an eye on their inbox for more information. The guide will highlight legislators who have been vetted by IECRM’s Government Relations Committee and have demonstrated support for the electrical industry.

Guest speaker Paul Giovannetti, Senior Vice President of Business Development at Catalyst Strategic Advisors, shared insights from his more than 25 years of experience in construction, development and facility services.

Make the Most of Your IECRM Membership

One key takeaway from the luncheon was simple: the more you get involved, the more value you get from your IECRM membership.

IECRM membership offers benefits ranging from personal and professional development to business development, networking and strength in numbers for industry advocacy. But these benefits are most valuable when members and their employees actively participate.

That means attending meetings and events, getting involved with a committee, connecting with fellow members and engaging with the industry community on a regular basis. The more consistently you show up and get involved, the more opportunities you create for your business, your employees and the industry.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the August Quarterly Member Luncheon.
