IECRM is thrilled to sponsor the 2025 SkillsUSA Colorado State Leadership Conference, taking place from April 9-11 at the Pueblo Convention Center. This event provides middle school, high school, and college students the opportunity to explore careers in skilled trades such as construction, media, and healthcare.
In partnership with IEC Southern Colorado, IECRM will sponsor the electrical skills competition. Students can participate in hands-on activities, including the Electricity 101 Showcase, experience a virtual reality safety demonstration, and compete in the electrical skills challenge. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about becoming an apprentice and starting a career as an electrician.
SkillsUSA National Signing Day – May 6, 2025
SkillsUSA National Signing Day on May 6 celebrates high school and college students entering skilled trades. Students will sign “letters of intent” for jobs, apprenticeships, or training.
