IECRM Executive Director, Spenser Villwock, has worked with other construction trade groups to coordinate quarterly meetings with key officials in Public Works, the Denver Mayor’s Office, and DIA representatives.
The goal of these regular meetings is to foster strong communications between the industry and our metro government departments—leading to building a solid relationship and sound rapport.
At our kick-off meeting in early February, we discussed the Better Denver Bond Program at length and the upcoming revisions to the “Canary Book” (formerly the “Orange Book”). There are nearly $100M in projects under the Bond program that have yet to be awarded.
