IECRM held a series of events during the week to show appreciation for our apprentices and showcase our award-winning apprenticeship training program.
National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) is a nationwide celebration established by the U.S. Department of Labor that brings together leaders in business, labor, educational institutions, and Americans interested in apprenticeships to showcase the positive impact apprenticeship programs have on addressing the U.S. skills gap and preparing the American workforce for the jobs of today and tomorrow.
Apprentice Appreciation – Each night IECRM provided food & beverages to students at all locations and IECRM Industry Partner members held hands-on tool demos at a mini Expo nightly at the main campus. A big thank you goes out to our partner Emily Griffith Technical College for providing cupcakes during our appreciation event.
Colorado Apprenticeship Awards – On Tuesday, November 16, IECRM was recognized for remarkable commitment to expanding access to apprenticeship programs.
Membership Luncheon & Policy Forum – On Wednesday, November 17, IECRM hosted a presentation and Q&A session with special guest Jason Todd, IEC National VP of Government Affairs & panel of experts to address topics including:
• Policies & Issues Impacting Business
• Legislation & Regulations Affecting Apprenticeship
• Opportunities & Benefits of IECRM Membership
Open House & Expo – On Thursday, November 18, IECRM opened its doors to all current & prospective students, high school counselors, and anyone and everyone that is interested in the career path of an electrician to stop by for:

• Classroom & Lab Tours
• Meet IECRM Staff & Instructors
• Learn about IECRM’s 4-Year Electrical Apprenticeship Program
