Independent Electrical Contractors Rocky Mountain Announces 2013-2014 Board of Directors

DENVER, Colorado — November 20, 2012 — The Independent Electrical Contractors Rocky Mountain (IECRM) (www.iecrm.org), the Rocky Mountain region’s premier trade association dedicated to supporting, promoting, and educating energy and electrical professionals, today announced its 2013-2014 Board of Directors after an election by members of the trade association at the IECRM Annual Business Dinner on November 15th in Denver, Colorado. Together with senior management, the IECRM Board of Directors is responsible for guiding the electrical and energy industry into the future, and creating a strong business environment for electrical and energy contractors.

Members of the 2013-2014 IECRM Board of Directors are as follows:

“For the third consecutive year, we have had a very competitive election in our active trade association.  The membership cast their ballots and have voted in an exciting group of industry leaders that will help guide IECRM to the next level of our growth,” said Executive Director, Spenser Villwock, MNM, LEED AP. “Look for our association to become the largest in the national network, in very short order, with this leadership team.”

120 guests representing over 50 area companies attended the sold out IECRM Annual Business Dinner. Following a cocktail reception and dinner, the nine board candidates delivered nomination speeches. IECRM Executive Director, Spenser Villwock, MNM, LEED AP, then announced the launch of the IECRM Affiliate Program, which will give members of the trade association access to exclusive discounts from partner companies such as EcoGreenOffice (www.ecogreenoffice.com), a Boulder-based provider of environmentally friendly office products and furniture. The event culminated with a presentation by David Rhodes, Deputy Manager of Aviation and head of the Planning and Development Division at Denver International Airport, on the airport’s plans to add new runways and facilities over the next 10 to 20 years.

Additionally, the event marked the launch of a new partnership between IECRM and the US Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program, a charitable program that delivers new toys to economically disadvantaged children during the holiday season. IECRM Self-Pay Tuition Policy

 

Self-pay students who are employed with a member company must register and pay through the member company using the IECRM Flashpoint Enrollment Portal/Process in order to qualify for member rates.

Self-pay students that are employed with a member company but that do not register and pay through the member will be charged the non-member rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.


Self-pay students who are employed with a member company and require a payment plan will not qualify for the member rate and will be charged the non-member rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.


Self-pay students who do not work for a member company will continue to be charged the non-member rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.


To maximize association/membership benefits, ALL member companies are encouraged to register and pay for all enrolled apprentices utilizing internal payment arrangements and processes between employer and employee.


We value our IECRM members and apprentice community. We encourage all apprentices to be enrolled in the four-year apprenticeship program, earning, and learning their way toward Journeyworker licensure. We encourage all members to utilize the member discount for tuition, books and applicable fees to ensure the long-term support and success of the next-generation electrician.

Self-Pay Payment Plan Policy


We offer the following arrangements for students that are unable to pay in full at the time of registration.


● Self-pay students will be charged the non-member rate.
● A 50% down payment of total semester tuition, books and applicable fees are due at registration.
● Remaining balance can be divided up to 3 additional monthly payments ($10.00 processing fee applies on each installment)
● All payments that are declined will incur a $20.00 NSF fee.

 

We encourage all students who are employed with a member company to work with their employer to register and pay through the IECRM Flashpoint Enrollment Portal/Process. This will ensure the student is paying the lowest possible rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.
