Contractors, friends, family, alumni, and industry supporters are invited to rally behind the competitors as winners are crowned and champions advance toward the national stage.

This year, IECRM is turning up the voltage by hosting an Industry Showcase (formerly known as the Energy Expo) alongside the Wire-Off competition.
While apprentices compete in live skills challenges, attendees can explore cutting-edge tools, technologies, products, and services designed to advance the electrical contracting industry.

Stay for Happy Hour & the Big Reveal
When the tools go down, the energy turns up. Join us at 5 PM for happy hour drinks and food as the judges power through final scoring and prepare for the big reveal.
The IECRM Wire-Off is the official local qualifier for the national competition. Ten top apprentices from each year of IECRM’s Four-Year Electrical Apprenticeship Program compete for prizes, bragging rights, and a paid trip to the IEC National Convention & Expo (SPARK) this fall.
Top finishers will head to SPARK—and the 1st Place 4th Year winner will advance to the national stage to compete for major prizes and the prestigious Apprentice of the Year (AOY) title.
