The Colorado Legislative session ended in May, and advocacy efforts continue! We are now fully in the election season, with the primary elections decided. Candidates for election and re-election are campaigning heavily. IECRM will participate throughout the months of July and August in candidate interviews to make endorsements and recommendations. It is important that we support and thank the elected officials who support business, the construction industry, and workforce development.
WE NEED YOUR INPUT AND ADVOCACY IN THREE WAYS:
1) Contribute to the IECRM PAC Fund to provide resources for the association to donate to candidates. We must fundraise separately through the PAC fund for these contributions. You can donate any amount up to $725.00.
2) Contribute directly to your candidate of choice! Individual campaign contribution limits are available here. https://www.sos.state.co.us/pubs/elections/CampaignFinance/limits/electionCycle.html
3) Know your legislator and invite them to your office, to tour a job site, or meet them for coffee. You are the expert on business and the industry. Elected officials love learning, so they are better informed when issues cross their desks at the State Capitol. You can Find Your Legislator here! https://leg.colorado.gov/house-district-map
