IECRM Announces David Rhodes of Denver International Airport as Keynote Speaker at 2012 IECRM Annual Business Dinner

David Rhodes, Deputy Manager of Aviation at DIA and head of its Planning and Development Division, will speak about current construction projects at DIA, plans for future development, special requirements and costs associated with working at the airport, and other topics concerning Colorado’s energy and independent contractor industry.

DENVER, Colorado — October 23, 2012 — The Independent Electrical Contractors Rocky Mountain (IECRM) (www.iecrm.org), a trade association dedicated to supporting, promoting, and educating energy and electrical professionals, announced today that David Rhodes, Deputy Manager of Aviation at Denver International Airport, will be the keynote speaker at the upcoming IECRM Annual Business Dinner on November 15, 2012.

At the IECRM Annual Business Dinner, Mr. Rhodes will address over 100 regional businesses about current construction

projects at DIA, plans for future development, special requirements and costs associated with working at the airport, and other topics concerning Colorado’s energy and independent contractor industry. The keynote presentation will kick off a full evening of celebration, discussion about upcoming business opportunities in the market, and the election of the 2013 IECRM Board of Directors.

“We are thrilled to have Mr. Rhodes speak at our business dinner. IECRM is continuously providing ways to advance our members — this unique opportunity will give us a chance to hear about the most recent development and expansion plans for Colorado’s self-sustaining airport, and get our specific questions answered,” said IECRM Director of Operations, Kristin Kim Haynes.

David Rhodes has 35 years of experience in the aviation field, both as a registered professional engineer, and more recently as

a project manager. Prior to his current position as Deputy Manager of Aviation at DIA, Mr. Rhodes worked for United Airlines as Regional Manager of the corporate real estate division. He oversaw facilities project management for 12 airports and for various airline properties.

IECRM Self-Pay Tuition Policy

 

Self-pay students who are employed with a member company must register and pay through the member company using the IECRM Flashpoint Enrollment Portal/Process in order to qualify for member rates.

Self-pay students that are employed with a member company but that do not register and pay through the member will be charged the non-member rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.


Self-pay students who are employed with a member company and require a payment plan will not qualify for the member rate and will be charged the non-member rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.


Self-pay students who do not work for a member company will continue to be charged the non-member rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.


To maximize association/membership benefits, ALL member companies are encouraged to register and pay for all enrolled apprentices utilizing internal payment arrangements and processes between employer and employee.


We value our IECRM members and apprentice community. We encourage all apprentices to be enrolled in the four-year apprenticeship program, earning, and learning their way toward Journeyworker licensure. We encourage all members to utilize the member discount for tuition, books and applicable fees to ensure the long-term support and success of the next-generation electrician.

Self-Pay Payment Plan Policy


We offer the following arrangements for students that are unable to pay in full at the time of registration.


● Self-pay students will be charged the non-member rate.
● A 50% down payment of total semester tuition, books and applicable fees are due at registration.
● Remaining balance can be divided up to 3 additional monthly payments ($10.00 processing fee applies on each installment)
● All payments that are declined will incur a $20.00 NSF fee.

 

We encourage all students who are employed with a member company to work with their employer to register and pay through the IECRM Flashpoint Enrollment Portal/Process. This will ensure the student is paying the lowest possible rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.
