Weifield Group Electrical Contracting for Denver International Airport Southwest Hangar Project

During the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, Weifield and its GC/trade partners constructed a new 128,000 sq. ft. steel maintenance hangar, bays, and outbuildings for Southwest Airlines on a 26-acre site at Denver International Airport (DEN). Numerous challenges presented themselves throughout the course of this project — including the Covid-19 pandemic, a slowed-down schedule/budget, complexities with safety protocols on-site; and governmental and regulatory scrutiny.
