CALL FOR NOMINATIONS: Are You Ready for IECRM Leadership?

It’s time for IECRM’s Board of Directors nominating process for 2019-2020 leadership to begin. And we need you!

Nominate yourself or recommend a colleague.

IECRM Industry Partners and Contractor Members, please submit your online nomination form by Monday, October 7 at 11:59 pm. 

The IECRM Board of Directors helps guide our industry into the future by creating a strong business environment for electrical and energy contractors. As an IECRM Board member, you will impact our organization in many ways including driving performance and growth as well as shaping IECRM’s future. As a board member, your commitment and dedication serve as a beacon to others in the trades and community.

Qualifications:
  • The candidate must be employed with a current IECRM Contractor Member or Industry Partner.
  • Have a desire to give back to the industry and be a voice in guiding the association’s initiatives.
  • Be willing to meet the board expectations as outlined below.

Board Expectations

Terms are two years in length. Currently, we have several board positions to fill – industry partner seats as well as contractor openings.

Responsibilities include:

  • Attend monthly IECRM Board of Directors meetings at our main location in Northglenn (typically the 3rd Thursday at 7am)
  • Serve on at least one IECRM Committee: Board of Trustees, Emerging Leaders, Government Relations, Membership & Events, Safety, Diversity & Inclusion
  • Attend at least three IECRM Annual Events: Summit Awards, Wire-Off Competition/Energy Expo, Graduation Ceremony, Golf Tournament, Business Dinner, and Holiday Celebration
  • Directors must be members in good standing of the Association.
Next Steps:

    • Nominations will be accepted through Monday, October 7 at 11:59pm. 
    • Ballots will be distributed via email by Wednesday, October 9.
    • One vote per member/partner company.
    • Online voting will take place through Tuesday, October 22 at noon.
  • Candidates will be presented and final voting will take place at the State of the Industry Dinner at the Wellshire Inn on Thursday, October 24.

IECRM Self-Pay Tuition Policy

 

Self-pay students who are employed with a member company must register and pay through the member company using the IECRM Flashpoint Enrollment Portal/Process in order to qualify for member rates.

Self-pay students that are employed with a member company but that do not register and pay through the member will be charged the non-member rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.


Self-pay students who are employed with a member company and require a payment plan will not qualify for the member rate and will be charged the non-member rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.


Self-pay students who do not work for a member company will continue to be charged the non-member rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.


To maximize association/membership benefits, ALL member companies are encouraged to register and pay for all enrolled apprentices utilizing internal payment arrangements and processes between employer and employee.


We value our IECRM members and apprentice community. We encourage all apprentices to be enrolled in the four-year apprenticeship program, earning, and learning their way toward Journeyworker licensure. We encourage all members to utilize the member discount for tuition, books and applicable fees to ensure the long-term support and success of the next-generation electrician.

Self-Pay Payment Plan Policy


We offer the following arrangements for students that are unable to pay in full at the time of registration.


● Self-pay students will be charged the non-member rate.
● A 50% down payment of total semester tuition, books and applicable fees are due at registration.
● Remaining balance can be divided up to 3 additional monthly payments ($10.00 processing fee applies on each installment)
● All payments that are declined will incur a $20.00 NSF fee.

 

We encourage all students who are employed with a member company to work with their employer to register and pay through the IECRM Flashpoint Enrollment Portal/Process. This will ensure the student is paying the lowest possible rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.
