BOULDER, Colorado — March 20, 2013 — On an unseasonably warm Thursday last week, 45 of Colorado’s energy and electrical professionals met at Rio Grande in Boulder for the second Energy Industry Happy Hour of the year, hosted by the Independent Electrical Contractors Rocky Mountain (IECRM), and sponsored by Allcable.
30 area companies were in attendance for the monthly networking event, including local electrical contractors, B.A.R. Electric (Niwot, CO), CDM Electric (Greeley, CO), and SouthPaw Electric (Erie, CO); national electrical distributor, CED (Boulder and Denver, CO); and electrical solutions manufacturer, Easter-Owens (Arvada, CO). Industry Partners at the event included eco-friendly office supply company, EcoGreenOffice (Boulder, CO); IT services company, iSupportU (Boulder, CO); pre-paid legal services firm, Legal Shield (Westminster, CO); and provider of electrical products and systems, Legrand (West Hartford, CT), a brand-new partner to the organization.
A special guest from RTD was also at the event. Dan Pearsall, Senior Project Manager DBE/SBE FasTracks Outreach, met and spoke with guests about contracting opportunities with RTD. Last month, Pearsall spoke at a free IECRM seminar on the same topic.
