Her presentation will highlight national initiatives focused on workforce development, strengthening education, and supporting IEC Chapters and contractors as they attract, develop, and retain skilled professionals.
Amy will also share personal stories and insights on the importance of staying engaged, embracing change, and putting your shoes on to make a difference. Discover how getting involved and investing in our industry’s future can help shape what’s next for IEC and the electrical workforce.
Meet Your Entertainment Host: Emmy Award-Winning Rion Evans!
Get ready for an evening of laughs and excitement with Emmy Award-winning comedian, actor, and writer Rion Evans!
Rion is a nationally recognized entertainer who has performed at top comedy clubs and festivals, including the Just for Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival and BET’s Comic View. His television and film credits include The Mo’Nique Show, Off the Chain, and award-winning independent films.
Known for his quick wit, infectious energy, and engaging personality, Rion knows how to connect with an audience and keep the excitement going. He’ll bring plenty of humor, unexpected moments, and a little friendly competition to IECRM’s 45th anniversary celebration.

Get ready to put your industry knowledge to the test! IECRM has been gathering insights from apprentices and members, and some of their answers may surprise you.
Guests can look forward to interactive entertainment featuring IECRM members, students, and industry leaders, with opportunities to participate, cheer on colleagues, and see who knows the industry best.
A few things to keep in mind:
- Friendly Competition: Watch familiar faces take on fun challenges throughout the evening.
- Audience Participation: You may have the opportunity to join in from your seat or even take the spotlight!

Some participants will be selected at random, so you never know when your moment might arrive! Prefer to enjoy the entertainment from your seat? You can opt out of stage participation during registration.
