AIS was started in 1945 by Paul J. Christensen when he saw the need to supply all the airlines at Stapleton Field. His grandson, Dale Hahs, is the CEO and continues to run the family business.
The original name was Aviation Service Supply and has changed to AIS Industrial and Construction Supply to better reflect the company’s business customers.
AIS has two locations in Colorado; Denver and Silt. The Denver location is in a 50,000 sq ft facility with a 4,000 sq ft showroom, a tool repair facility, locker and shelving division, a two-tiered warehouse and employees around 30 people.
