What is required for electrical license renewal:
Every licensed electrician is required to complete 24 hours of state-approved continuing education classes in order to renew licensure by the September 30th deadline. A minimum of 4 hours of NEC Changes is required, and a maximum of 4 hours of safety training will be accepted.
All of IECRM’s Continuing Education courses are designed to provide electricians with the knowledge and skills needed to stay up-to-date with industry regulations and advancements and to maintain their electrical license in Colorado.
Electricians should ensure that they complete the required continuing education hours before the deadline of September 30, 2023, and submit their renewal application to DORA in a timely manner to avoid any late fees or penalties.
