IECRM Board of Directors

The Board helps IECRM continue to elevate the electrical and energy industries by promoting, educating, and supporting open-market contractors. The Board guides the industry into the future, while creating a strong business environment for electrical and energy contractors.

The Board consists of a body of Contractor Members and Industry Partners of the association. Board Members are elected by the general membership of the association for a two-year term.

The Board of Trustees is appointed by the IECRM Board of Directors to provide a successful training program to educate apprentice electricians, review curriculum to ensure the delivery of a quality product, and monitor related policies and procedures.

Committees provide the voice of our industry. Several volunteer committees meet regularly to provide recommendations on pertinent issues to the Board of Directors. We welcome new committee members for those that are IECRM members in good standing. 

Building an inclusive environment by recruiting, retaining, and recognizing a diversity of people, range of interests, experiences, values, and cultural richness that EMPOWERS our country, industry, and the IECRM community.
Workforce Empowerment Committee Logo
Oversees the IECRM Emerging Leaders Program, a 6-month course designed to help advance the business skills and network of mid-career individuals that are on the trajectory for senior-level leadership within their companies and the industry.
Monitors political activities in order to support legislation favorable to IECRM contractor members while opposing legislation that would negatively impact merit shop electrical contractors and independent businesses.
Responsible for providing high-quality benefits and value-added services to attract and retain Contractor Members and Industry Partners in support of our members’ success, strengthening the industry, and the organization’s financial goals.
Responsible for planning high-quality events to attract and retain Contractor Members and Industry Partners. Meets the 2nd Thursday of the month at 11am for 30 minutes on Zoom, and semi-annually for lunch.
Focused on making IECRM members and their employees aware of the importance of safety in the workplace through the dissemination of safety-related information and by offering safety training.

IECRM prides itself on the passion and talents of our instructors, who are dedicated to supporting students in their journey to become a highly skilled, trained, and motivated electrician. They bring a wide range of experiences to the classroom which helps our students develop an interest and understanding for real-life applications and the impacts of their skilled trade.

IECRM prides itself on the passion and talents of our instructors. We currently have over 60 instructors for our Four-Year Electrician Apprentice Program and Continuing Education Classes.

As electricians themselves, they bring a wide range of experiences to the classroom which helps our students develop an interest and understanding for real-life applications and the impacts of their skilled trade.

IECRM Self-Pay Tuition Policy

 

Self-pay students who are employed with a member company must register and pay through the member company using the IECRM Flashpoint Enrollment Portal/Process in order to qualify for member rates.

Self-pay students that are employed with a member company but that do not register and pay through the member will be charged the non-member rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.


Self-pay students who are employed with a member company and require a payment plan will not qualify for the member rate and will be charged the non-member rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.


Self-pay students who do not work for a member company will continue to be charged the non-member rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.


To maximize association/membership benefits, ALL member companies are encouraged to register and pay for all enrolled apprentices utilizing internal payment arrangements and processes between employer and employee.


We value our IECRM members and apprentice community. We encourage all apprentices to be enrolled in the four-year apprenticeship program, earning, and learning their way toward Journeyworker licensure. We encourage all members to utilize the member discount for tuition, books and applicable fees to ensure the long-term support and success of the next-generation electrician.

Self-Pay Payment Plan Policy


We offer the following arrangements for students that are unable to pay in full at the time of registration.


● Self-pay students will be charged the non-member rate.
● A 50% down payment of total semester tuition, books and applicable fees are due at registration.
● Remaining balance can be divided up to 3 additional monthly payments ($10.00 processing fee applies on each installment)
● All payments that are declined will incur a $20.00 NSF fee.

 

We encourage all students who are employed with a member company to work with their employer to register and pay through the IECRM Flashpoint Enrollment Portal/Process. This will ensure the student is paying the lowest possible rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.
