Why all this fuss about the parade?

In 2017, more than 100 IECRM apprentices and members volunteered their time and skills to design and build the newest float in more than 20 years for Denver’s annual electrical parade of lights — a huge accomplishment for our electrical industry and community! The float’s theme of the “Sparkling Ice Castle of the Future” was selected through a special contest held for all 1,600 IECRM apprentices in 2017 to highlight the importance of skilled trade workers and create awareness of the demand for our work in Colorado.

In 2021, the IECRM Sparkling Ice Castle of the Future float will make its 4th appearance in the 9NEWS Parade of Lights to the delight of hundreds of thousands of viewers in person and on TV. Come cheer on the float with us!

We hope you will join us to celebrate the holidays!
