Supporting Veterans Through Radiothon Sponsorship

In honor of Veterans Day and to create awareness about the many career paths in the electrical industry, In honor of Veterans Day and to create awareness about the many career paths in the electrical industry, IECRM signed up as the presenting sponsor for 99.5 The Mountain’s 7th Annual Radiothon, benefiting Project Sanctuary. This event raised $51,000 to support the nonprofit organization’s mission of helping military service members, veterans, and their families through therapeutic retreats and ongoing assistance for successful transitions into civilian life.

IECRM Instructor Paul Ramirez shared his journey during the radiothon. A former Missile Warning Officer in the Air Force, he became a licensed electrician and credits IECRM for helping him succeed in the electrical industry through its Electrical Apprenticeship Training Program. He praised the program’s “earn-as-you-learn” model and encouraged those interested in an electrical career to contact IECRM, which proudly accepts the GI Bill for veterans.

Paul Lingo, IECRM’s Training Director, also emphasized the organization’s commitment to supporting veterans and their career development.

IECRM is proud to support events like this radiothon, reinforcing its dedication to veterans and the wider community by connecting individuals to career opportunities in the electrical industry.
