Each year IECRM honors an organization whose mission or actions align with the strategic initiatives of IECRM or the priorities of the industry.
This year we recognize the Colorado Emergency Preparedness Partnership (CEPP) with the Strategic Initiative Award.
Eugene Wade, Executive Director of CEPP accepted the award and was also the keynote speaker for the 16th Annual IECRM Sumit Awards.
CEPP is a non-profit organization that provides a platform for public, private, and philanthropic organizations to work together on emergency preparedness issues throughout the state of Colorado including collaboration on projects and programs that promote joint planning and information sharing.
IECRM serves on the private sector subcommittee, representing the electrical industry in Colorado, and meets quarterly with federal, state, local, and business stakeholders on matters related to emergency preparedness, response, and recovery.
