State of the Industry Dinner & Board Election Recap

Highlights from IECRM’s State of the Industry Dinner – Safety Showcase, Fashion Show, and New Board of Directors

On Thursday, November 13, IECRM hosted its State of the Industry Dinner & Board of Directors Election at the Delta Marriott in Northglenn, bringing together contractors, educators, partners, students, and industry leaders for an evening celebrating collaboration, innovation, and safety. This year’s theme, United in a Culture of Safety, was reflected throughout the night, highlighting the community’s commitment to protecting people, fostering professional growth, and strengthening the electrical industry.

The evening began with a cocktail reception featuring deluxe appetizers, networking, and an interactive Safety Showcase, where attendees explored cutting-edge tools, resources, and programs that support a culture of safety in electrical construction.

A special thank-you to our Safety Showcase Station Sponsors, whose contributions not only provided engaging booths with demonstrations and expert insights but also helped to support the event financially:

These attendees gained valuable resources and inspiration to enhance safety practices in their own organizations.

One of the evening’s highlights was the surprise Safety Gear Fashion Show, hosted by Josh Bobb, Director of Environmental, Health, and Safety for Weifield Group, a Loenbro Company. With over 20 years of experience in construction safety and firefighting, Josh served as Master of Ceremonies, introducing apprentices who modeled state-of-the-art PPE and safety apparel that combine innovation, protection, and professional style.

Twenty apprentices representing 16 member companies of IECRM took to the runway to showcase personal protective equipment (PPE) that combines protection, innovation, and professionalism. The event featured products from Colorado Safety Supply’s manufacturing partners, including Kask, CleanSpace Respirators, Radians, FallTech, Superior Glove, PIP, and Portwest, as well as the latest PPE offerings from OEL Worldwide and Milwaukee Tool.
