As IECRM students picked up their books and supplies for the upcoming semester, they were welcomed into the Energy Expo to explore innovative products and services designed to advance the electrical contracting industry. Guests also enjoyed freshly grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, courtesy of Ledvance, with CED volunteers manning the grill and serving food — giving our Industry Partners the perfect opportunity to connect with the future of the trade.

Meanwhile, the Pint for a Pint Blood Drive, co-hosted by Vitalant, was a huge success thanks to the generosity of our community — helping to save lives! A total of 34 donations were given, far exceeding our original goal of 24. As a special thank-you, each donor received a certificate for a pint of Blue Bell ice cream or a pint of beer. Cheers to everyone who rolled up their sleeve to make a difference!
Adding to the buzz, popular radio DJ Dan Hardee of 99.5 The Mountain brought the excitement with a live broadcast from the outdoor Expo. Attendees had the chance to meet Dan and snap a selfie, and 99.5 The Mountain even gave attendees a chance to win concert tickets during the event. Near the prize wheel, guests could spin for a variety of fun giveaways — including IECRM merch, gift cards donated by Horizons North Credit Union, and tools generously provided by IDEAL and Milwaukee Tool. Also making the event extra sweet: Blue Bell Ice Cream rolled up in their iconic truck, handing out cool treats for everyone to enjoy.
