Platinum Partner Spotlight – CED (Consolidated Electrical Distributors)
In 1957, CED (Consolidated Electrical Distributors) started with humble beginnings with just two locations. Over the many years, they have worked hard to keep CED as local as possible by acquiring local distributors to provide the quality materials and service they’ve become known for. Now with over 700 locations nationwide, CED has become one of the largest electrical distributors in the country. What is your company’s WHY?
First and foremost, our why is the people. Whether it’s regarding our employees, customers, trade partners, or their families, none of this works without them. We want to make every experience with CED a good one for all parties involved.
What is it your company believes in?
We believe in partnerships driving our business. If we can make a decision that will have a positive impact on one of our partners, then we view it as a win/win situation. Partnerships are a two-way street and benefits should be reciprocal.
What is the most strategic service you provide to electrical contractors?
Accurate and timely service with a customer-focused team.
Tell us about your partnership and engagement with IECRM.
CED has been a partner with IEC from the very beginning and plans on continuing the partnership for years to come. I currently sit on the Board of Directors along with the membership and emerging leadership committees. We are committed to the continued growth and education of the future leaders of our industry through our partnership with the IEC.
